Discussion of Campus Activism at Marquette University

Event Description:
Marquette alumni who participated in various protests in the late 1960s will discuss the legacy of campus activism. Dr. Albert Raboteau, Professor Emeritus of Theology at Princeton University, will moderate an informal discussion with Arthur Heitzer, local attorney and civil rights activist, Gregory Stanford, former columnist for the Milwaukee Journal, and  Peggy Kendrigan, a long-time administrator the county’s Division of Community Corrections and charter school activist.
The panel is presented in conjunction with the Haggerty Museum of Art exhibition Resistance, Protest, Resilience, and the launch of Protest@MU, a website and digital humanities project developed by History Students at Marquette University.
