“Pandemic-related Lightning Talks”

Event Description:
The Office of Research and Innovation will host a second virtual town hall titled “Pandemic-related Lightning Talks” on Tuesday, August 4, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The event will feature five-minute presentations by Marquette faculty, staff or research associates focusing on the research endeavors, projects, commentaries and educational opportunities emerging at Marquette and around the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first round of Lightning Talks is an example of the interdisciplinary research, teaching and educational opportunities happening across Marquette’s campus.

Sign up to present by Monday, July 27 at 5 p.m. A title, name of presenter and contact information must be submitted.

After you sign up:

· Expect to hear if your topic is accepted by Wednesday, July 29.

· If your topic is accepted, prepare 1-2 slides for a five-minute presentation. (Guidance will be provided)

· Finished slides need to be submitted to Mike Haischer by Sunday, August 2 at noon.
